1.Why choose stainless steel gas springs?
If your product is constantly exposed to dampness, wind, and rain weather, like the maritime industry or outdoor furniture industry – we recommend using gas springs made of a rust-proof material. Our stainless-steel gas springs are made from 304 stainless steel and acid-proof 316L stainless steel.
2.What are the benefits of stainless steel?
3. What are the typical applications of stainless steel gas springs?
4.K-factor (Force Ratio)
As we can see from the graphic of a actual case from one of our customer, the pink curve represents the force change from the gas spring been compressed, then extension back. In the process, there are 4 force values, F3, F4, F2, F1. These forces are measured 5 mm before the end of the movements.
The K-factor (force ratio) is Fb/Fa.
The diviation between F3 and F1 is 2 times of friction froces when positon moves inside the tube.
JP sets your brand to greater heights, from offering high-quality and expertly designed gas springs to getting comprehensive services from our experts. Let’s talk.
